The University of Worcester is a public research university, based in Worcester, United Kingdom. Worcester is the only university serving the English counties of Worcestershire and Herefordshire.

The university's main campus is known as St John's and is the main base for all courses, support departments and academic institutes, except those related to business, computing, marketing or management. The site contains Halls of Residence with over 800 rooms, a sports centre, sports pitches, facilities for training nurses, midwives, and physician associates, a commercial standard digital arts centre and motion performance centre.
Worcester itself is a charming city with plenty to see and do. It has an energetic and varied nightlife, and is situated between two areas of outstanding natural beauty with lovely countryside nearby.

English Language Requirements
IELTS: 60% in English from both standard X and standard XII or an IELTS of 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in each component) will be considered for admission to our Undergraduate degree courses.
IELTS: postgraduate 6.5 (with no less than 5.5 in each element).
· Other English language qualifications are accepted.
Undergraduate
Applicants with an overall grade of 60% from the Standard XII Higher Secondary School Certificate from the All India Boards . All other boards will require an overall grade of 65%.
Postgraduate
Pass the Indian Bachelor degree with a minimum of 55% (50% from the University of Delhi) or higher.
Accommodation for International Students
· International and EU students are guaranteed university-managed accommodation if they apply for accommodation before the relevant date.
· The majority of accommodation is on the campus; off-campus accommodation managed by the university is also offered. University accommodation is self-catered, and provides Internet access.
· Accommodation costs include gas, electricity, water, broadband Internet, contents insurance and gym membership.
· International and EU students are evenly spread throughout the accommodation, unless special requests are made for a clustered arrangement.
· Students do not have to move out of their accommodation during the Christmas and Easter vacations.
With over 1,000 single-occupancy rooms across the campuses, the university offers contemporary accommodation to suit a variety of budgets and needs.
All university-managed halls operate 24-hour security, 24-hour emergency maintenance, free contents insurance, and cleaning of communal areas.
Scholarships Applicable to All EU/International Students
Academic Scholarships
The University awards scholarships of £1000 to eligible undergraduate students in their first and second year of a degree course or first year of a Foundation degree or HND on the basis of their academic achievement at the University.
